spills are spells that don’t trust the distance
spills are spells that don’t trust the distance erforscht die Beziehungen zwischen Bildern, Berührung und Raum. Was du siehst, ist bereits in dir. Du hast es verschüttet.
Performance / Choreography: Susanne Grau

doing and not doing
is an instantly composed solo that challenges the relationship between doing and not doing, guiding and following. In a world where we aim to produce faster and better constantly, it is looking for a calm state of mind and to let momentum be generated by listening rather than doing. Departing from a deeply felt longing for an interconnected sensation inside the body, this piece is looking for a dialogue with the music, time and space around. This conversation naturally exists only in that very moment and will never be reproduced in the same way.  It is inspired by the music of the polish artist Hania Rani. The Solo is inviting the audience to ease the mind and to take in, rather than trying to understand.

WEED
Weed, a contemporary dance piece that explores distortion, deformed bodies and history of situations through the desire and love of the body to move. The audience is invited to witness a unique creative world of colour and imagination – a surprising and visceral journey through a rich landscape. the piece is full of mystery and perverted images that each viewer can interpret in a different and personal way, but at the end of it they expose the full abstract narrative.
Choreografie: Rotem Weissman and Jin Lee / Performance and Vocals – Inbar Livne Bar

The piece is inspired by the photographer – Sandro Giordano – “My photographs are “short stories” about a world that is falling-down. Each shot tells about worn-out characters who, in a sudden black-out of mind and body, crash with no attempt to save themselves. They are unable to, because of the fatigue of the everyday representation of living, oppressed by appearance instead of simply existing. We live in a distorted world of plastic surgery, which perpetuates stereotyped images that feed a preset marketing model. I believe that perfection is in imperfection. It is in strong contrasts, in frailty, and in the humanity that makes each individual different from the rest.”
